The Barcoo police station's are not manned 24 hours each day however staff are on call for emergencies outside of their rostered shifts. If you need to contact the police in an emergency, please call the following numbers:
- Triple 0 (000) for life threatening matters or;
- Police Link on 131444 for reporting non life threatening matters.
- Alternately try calling police on the Barcoo Shire UHF radio repeater system (channels1 to 8 duplex/rpt) as we may be in our vehicles.
Police in the Barcoo Shire support responsible driver behaviour and ask that everyone slow down and take the time to enjoy the scenery and to arrive safely at your destination.
